Objective

The goal of this 40-hour training is to provide participants with the basics of Information Technology networking. The following concepts are examples of what will be covered: Networking Models, Switching, Routing, Wireless, Security, Network Monitoring and much more. The training will provide real life examples and labs.

Additionally, by providing participants with the appropriate training, the course helps prepare them for IT programs such as IT Network Management and Cisco CCNA, among others.

After completing this course, you will be able to choose which path you would like to follow in the networking world. Potential paths include, but not limited to:

  • Network Administrator
  • Network Technician
  • IT Support
  • IT Manager

Admission Requirements

There are no specific requirements to pursue this training, but a background in IT would be recommended. Motivation is valued, as is having a strong desire to get into the networking world and a willingness to work hard as we get together and learn about the world of networking.
